Here you can find information about the former Barretts Bowling Club and Walthasm Park Bowls Club and Results/League Tables for the Grimsby & District Indoor Bowls League.
Barretts Bowls Club (previously Laportes, Chartdale, Stanford Homes, Linden Homes and Linden Bowls) was for many years located on Clee Road, Grimsby in the grounds of what is now the Linden Club. We moved to Barretts Recreation Ground in 2016 where we were based on Green Number 1. Following widespread vandalism and unsocial behaviour at Barretts the club decided to disband - the bulk of players now play for Waltham Park Bowls Club as Waltham Park C Team (the Windmills). Results for this seasson's Waltham Park Fixtures are shown on other pages of this Website.
The Barretts Club Officials remain in place until the club is officially wound up. They are:-

The pre-season get together will be held on Sunday 06 April at 2 pm when all documentation will be available.
The Indoor Bowls results & tables for the 2024/2025 season can be found on our "Indoor Bowls Leagues" page.
The Season started on Sunday 06 October, the last matches before Chrismas will be week commencing 15 December and we resumed week commencing 12 January. Presentation Day/Champion of Champions Competition will be held on Saturday 5 April.

Congratulations to the Millers Afternoon Roving Jack Team - Champions of Division 2.
Congratulations to the B Team Roving Jack on winning the Spray Cup. They beat play Carr Lane A in a close fought Final.
STOP PRESS - B Team Roving Jack have been confirmed as Champions of League 2.
Congratulations also to the C Team EBF who beat Keelby in the final of the Ross Burnett Trophy and have also achieved promotion to League 2 of the EBF Rink League.
Success too for the C Team EBA - Champions of League 3 EBA Triples.
The winning Ross Burnett trophy team is pictured below.
Many thanks to all the Club Members who came to support us in the two Cup Finals - it did make all the difference.
